Diva Cruz is a Colombian professional percussionist, singer, songwriter and DJ based in Stockholm. She has performed at concerts in South America, North America and Europe. Played at festivals ranging as far north as Jokkmokk in the very north of Sweden to Barcelona, Berlin,California and Madison Square Garden in New York.

For Diva being a musician is not just a job, It`s a passion and she strongly believe that music positively influences our lives and can heal us. Diva started her musical career when she was 9 years old in Cali, Colombia. Cali is known for being " La capital de la salsa" and is where her salsa music roots originated as a percussionist in the all female salsa band Orquesta D`cache. Her drums have let her travel the world and spread music and energy to crowds everywhere. Her DJ sets are often packed with various live percussion which adds an extra dimension to any party and results in a unique musical experience for everyone involved.

Diva has on her way performed with artist such as Tito Puente, Robyn, Fever Ray, Mapei and many others. She is now working on her first electronic music album Colibri together with Olof Dreijer where she sings, raps and plays percussion.

Diva has also had her own hour-long radio show in Swedish radio where the main focus was Latin American music. She has also worked as an actress in the Swedish national TV program "Superlördag" with Ylva Hallen and “Morgonshowen” together with Markus Granseth. ​Diva has also created a unique interactive childrens’ show called "The sounds of the jungle" where she plays the marimba, sings and play percussion.​ Diva has also studied psychology and she has a bachelor’s degree in medical science with a major in Public Health Sciences.
